The past few years have been rough for me. I won’t bore you with the details, but I lost my love of photography and essentially all things I once enjoyed. Photos and writing became one more thing I had to do instead of got to do. Over the past few weeks, I realized how much I missed both. I began scrolling through old photos I had taken and remembered each moment for what it was: a moment in life. A moment where I stood still and didn’t think about anything but what was in my eyesight. That was a feeling I missed.
My 2020 goal is to keep this blog updated at least weekly with a photo I love. I am debating doing a daily challenge on Instagram, which I can link here, but we’ll see. Right now, weekly seems much more manageable and enjoyable. Taking photos & sharing them online are two different things for me.
I thank you for sticking with me through the ups & downs. Remember, photography isn’t about the perfect shot. It’s about making someone feel something, even if that someone is simply you.
